Marathon Training

Welcome to another Fitness Friday inspired by Jill at Life...As I See It. This week my focus is going to be on running and my training plan for my fall marathon.

There are just 85 days left until my Marathon on October 2 in Portland Maine. Below is my training plan for the month of July. This is my fourth marathon so I am trying to improve my previous marathon times by working on speed and hill sessions.

  2. I want to run a marathon... it's on my list to do... I'm just having issues justifing the cost and the time it would take to train. I'd love to hear how others have balanced this out!

  4. @Amy Training for a marathon is like a part time job but right now I have the time and don't have any kids so it is doable for me. I am a morning person so for my long runs I usually get up early and head right out for my run. Half the time when I get home my finance is still sleeping so it works out perfect!

  5. I love how you were able to post your training schedule! I really fell off this week with lots of traveling, planning on getting back on today! Although I'm not quite up to your distance yet! Great job!
