Fruit and Veggie Challenge

I am taking on a fruit and veggie challenge for the next 30 days which will be to eat at least 5 servings of fruits and vegetable per day. This challenge was inspired by Diana over at The Chic Life.

This challenge will not only by fun but will also help me with some of my June Goals.

How to Play
Goal: Eat at least 5 servings of fruits and vegetables every day for the month of June.

What’s a serving?: My guideline for serving with be about 60 calories for fruit and about 25 calories for vegetable. It can be tough to measure calories for fruits and veggies so you can estimate by saying a single piece of fruit is a serving or if you make a smoothie that counts as a serving of fruit.  It is completely up to you how strict or lax you are about the serving portions.

How many servings should I eat? During this challenge the minimum serving size should be 5 servings of fruits and vegetables per day but always feel free to incorporate more if you can.

Have fun and let me know if you are going to join me in this challenge by leaving a comment and a link to your blog.

  1. OMGosh, I'm sure I eat way more than 5 servings of fruits and veggies a day. I have so much fiber coursing through this body, it's a wonder why my cube wasn't moved to the bathroom at work. :-D
