WIAW Seafood Edition

So since I was away this weekend I was bad with taking pictures of my food but I did snap a few. This week on WIAW is a little of some favorites from the weekend.
Since we were in Maine we bought some lobsters and steamers at a local fish market and boiled them up for dinner one night. The lobster was my first of the summer and will not be my last. I love lobster but I am usually not the cleanest eater of it so I usually only enjoy it when I can eat them at home.

The next night we went to the Front Porch for dinner and it was delicious. My dad and I started out with an order of mussels that was cooked in a garlic wine sauce with chorizo. Sorry I didn't snap a pic they looked too good I just had to start eating them right away. While enjoying our mussels I sipped on a glass of red sangria that was so refreshing, I just love the summer!

For dinner I opted for the lobster risotto with asparagus, I can never get enough lobster. There was chunks of lobster throughout the creamy dish, I was in heaven and full of course!

Question: What is your favorite summertime food?

P.S. Happy National Running Day, I hope everyone gets out there for a run today!
